Just so I don't get ripped for posting without a link Snopes. It is marked Boy Scouts

P.S. Turn the volume up. That's a great song they're playing. ;)

Yep...apparently, both parties deny it as can be found on Snopes but it's still pretty funny :)

This one is known to be true. Lady Astor and Winston Churchill happened to be spending the same weekend at Churchill's cousin's estate and argued the entire time.

Lady Astor: "Winston, if I were your wife I'd put poison in your coffee."
Winston: "Nancy, if I were your husband I'd drink it."

They were lifelong friends and exchanged epic insults over the years.

Best comeback line I've ever heard was Pee Wee Herman, after all the crap happened about him getting arresting and his show getting cancelled. He had the guts to appear at an awards show... I think it was the MTV awards... and said:

Heard any good jokes lately?

The crowd went wild, which was really cool.

Another great Winston Churchill and Lady Astor exchange:

Lady Astor: Winston, you are DRUNK!

Churchill: Lady, you are ugly. And in the morning, I'll be sober.
