The best chili dogs on God's green planet

I have to admit, as I go off into gastronomical bliss, that I make the absolute, best Chili Dogs you will find, at least in this state. 😉

It's so simple, but yet soooo good.

I like to find the best canned chili concarne, then heat a pan, simmer it, etc. Here is where the difference lies, me harties;
I like to slice up a mixture of hot link and only use Hebrew National Hot Dogs.
I let the dogs and links simmer in the chili con carne for about an hour. When almost ready to eat, I saute some chopped onions and jalepenos. I also grate up some cheese.

You can guess what you do from here. 😉

I'm headed off to get some shut eye. Hope the wife can stand the aftershocks. LOL 😀

I'm a little worried about that request. I'm afraid they'll be of him holding the chilli-dogs while wearing only a thong and across his chest, "Yes ATOT I cooked these" in mustard and ketchup.

Ok, modded frozen pizza is no joke, if you do it right. Here's how.

First off, only Tony's. Totinos sucks.

Get a good Tony's pepperoni and sausage pizza. Do not grate any Mozzerella cheese. You slice it in very thin rounds.
Preheat oven to 425.

Get some of that pepperoni that comes in a bag of, oh 200 slices. Here is how I make mine:
2 slices of pepperoni, 1 slice of cheese. Follow the yellow brick road. It goes around from outside, to a spiral, inside. If you like, you do the pep, cheese, slice of jalapeno, slice of mushroom, slice of black olive. Repeat. Follow the yellow brick road. 🙂

Now the pizza crust will overcook, if you leave it in the oven for the time it takes to properly heat and toast all the ingredients, so let it bace about 10 minutes, then turn on the broiler to melt and brown the cheese. Alternate bake, broil. Should take about 25 minutes, the way I make them. So good!
Let it stand on a cutting board for 5-8 minutes. Slice it up and enjoy. 🙂

Too bad you don't have a publix around you. Publix frozen pizza is better than any other and it's only 2.99.

I really like Totinos pizzas because they are thin and crisp. I don't like thick pizzas. So how thick are Tony's pizzas?

BTW, all Totino's pizzas are only 99 cents at Mal-Wart. You are also bad for making me hungry at 2:00 AM. Now I'm going to visit the kitchen.

on God's green planet? No. In your state? yeah, probably.

They used to do those shows on PBS where they'd go around the country to visit food places that make the best hot dogs, cheese steaks, etc. That was fun to watch.
