The Best Cabernet-Sauvignon I've Ever Had

sterling vintner's collection.... it's so goddamn good. it's all i ever drink, now. whenever we go to the grocerys store to get alcohol and get drunk on the weekends, i always get myself a bottle or two of this stuff ($12.77 on sale) instead of beer or liquor.

i HIGHLY recommend this wine. it's absolutely awesome.

i just visited sterling ~ 2 weeks ago when i was in napa for a friends wedding... BEAUTIFUL PLACE!! Got some nice pics, i'll post em here if i ever get around to post-processing them...

If you like Sterling, i suggest you check out Buena Vista's collection as well, just over the ridge in southern sonoma / carneros.

Sterling does make some good stuff, that's for sure. Stag's Leap does too, and they range from fairly affordable to E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E.

i'm halfway through my bottle of sterling vintner's cab right now. i'm definitely putting stag's leap and buena vista's collection on my list of things to try.

I buy anything under $5 a bottle at Trader Joes... it's true I've sampled some sh!tty wine, but I've found a few that are qutie good.

Burrowing Owl Winery

This wine is very limited......... when you visit they only allow you to buy 2 bottles a visit. My friends wedding had Pinot Gris & Pinot Noir. He was fortunate enough in that his father (a vertranarian) was working on the Burrowing Owl Project and he asked them if he could buy by the case for the wedding.

I've only tried the pinot gris & pinot noir........ I must confess I am not a wine fan......... but I've tried a lot of wine form ther Okanagan Valley and this is by far the best stuff.
