Well, I can't testify to quality as I don't have it installed and running yet, but I just bought a Shuttle AK31 revision 2 motherboard yesterday for $90, which is pretty damn cheap. All the reviews I read of the rev2 board said that it's an excellent board, so that may be a leader in a cost/performance/value comparison.

I second that opinion. It appears the highest performing DDR motherboard is the AK-47.. j/k... 31 Rev2.

It costs cheap too.

epox 8k7a.... installed easily, rock solid stable right out of the box... good oc capabilities... can get one now for about $118 I think.... definitely recommend... Had an IWILL DDR board.... can you say RMA ??

I second the Epox. It has huge bang for the buck and with the new BIOS some serious o/c capabilities.

I just got the Epox.
Great board. Very easy install.

If only I didn't have some wierd problems which I think are PSU related...

how about the FIC ad11? It's very cheap, can get it for $109 and has good features. Only problem I see is that it has only 2 fan headers, and the FSB settings aren't in 1 mhz increments. Epox is definetely a better board if you'r going to OC, but the FIC seems like the best bargain. AMD760!

I got the epox from newegg...126 shipped.

For the few seconds i used it, before the tbird fried (not all my fault!! hehe), it performed well (yea, i really got a chance to use it)

But seriously, bang for the buck wise, if you want DDR, nothing tops the Epox. You get a big range of OCing functions, and this neat KeyBoard PowerOn (KBPO)

Again...buy the epox!! I bought this board because of bang for the buck value. The nearest board performance-wise is the Asus A7M, costing a hefty $170+.

However, if you dont like Epox (i cant imagine why, but still), Gigabyte and FIC make pretty good DDR boards too
