The best antivirus software?

I've got some sort of a worm that AVG can't get rid of. What should i use?

I would first read this.

IMHO the best solution is AVG + NAV 2003.

the best antivirus is to not open files that you don't recognize and not let stupid people use your computer (even if that includes you.)

No reason to run both at the same time. That is just wasted resources. NAV 2003 plus common sense will work wonders.

I ended up going back to NAV... AVG was good for free though.

I can't stand NAV.

I've been running AVG for over a year now and have never had a virus. It's even caught a few potential ones.

AVG misses a lot of recent/big viruses though.

I'm running NAV 2004 and found it to run like crap with anything less than 512mb.

I really like Sophos although I use NAV 2004 at home. Sophos is used at the office.
