I referred this week to Bernie Sanders as a cuckold to Clinton, after Debbie Wasserman Schultz's and the other DNC Clinton operatives' emails were released, showing how they were complicate in rigging the Democrat primary. But if this story below is true, I gladly reverse my statement. According to this article in Heatstreet, Sanders is leaving the Democrat party and going back to his independent status. Good for you Bernie.

Bernie Sanders tells @bpolitics breakfast w/reporters he'll return to the Senate as an Independent, not a Dem: 'I was elected as an Ind.'

Distinction without a difference since he'll still vote with them. Changing the label on the can doesn't change its contents.

Repubs live by a creed. Part of it is never pass up an opportunity to tear down the legitimacy of the opposition. Spread the FUD.

Except, I'm not a Republican. If a politician looks corrupt, walks corrupt and quacks corrupt, she is corrupt.

He was never really a Democrat. He was a Socialist pretending to be a Democrat to get nominated.

Can you elaborate on this? Thanks.

I'm registered as Unenrolled. That's the derogatory term that the Massachusetts controlled Democrats have designated for Independents.

I don't particularly like RINOs, who are just Democrat moderates. I looked into joining the Libertarian party some dozen years back, because I believe in the rule of law and the Constitution. The way to reduce government corruption and idiot mistakes, is lesser government. But I found out that Libertarians were and still are just a bunch of potheads, who want to legalize dope.

I like Trump a lot, because he just pisses so many people off. I have no idea what kind of president he'll make if elected. And I'm sure he'd make plenty of mistakes. But anything to get this country on another road and off this road to hell, is worth a gamble.

Lol. I'm not a Republican, because too many of them aren't Republican enough.

Or he wanted to transform Democrats to a Socialist party faster. They are going there anyway, it's more about how long it is going to take.

Odd, just yesterday I read on some news that Bernie pledged to campaign for Clinton from now on 'til November. (Which would be AWFUL and goes against anything he stood for in the previous months, to say the least).

Independents can't campaign on a party nominees behalf? Someone should let Bloomberg know.

Posting in a TheGardner thread.

What is it with the conservative obsession with manhood and cuckold relationships?

You mentioned corruption - are you claiming Bernie is corrupt for changing from Independent to Democrat merely to run for President, then changing back when he didn't get the nomination as corrupt? Or are you claiming that the Democrats, recognizing what Bernie was up to were corrupt in minimizing his chances of taking over their party platform for his own use as an Independent?

That's funny, when I looked at the Libertarian party, I passed because it seemed to be full of people like you.

No it doesn't. Bernie always stood against more Republicans on SCOTUS.

So sleazy. From the beginning, Bernie's #1 goal has been to keep a Repub out of the oval office.

"On our worst days ... we are 100 times better than any Republican candidate," the Vermont senator said, before his voice was lost under the whooping, whistling crowd.

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box...ur-worst-day-we-are-100-times-better-than-gop

So far as that relates to Trump, Bernie would probably add a couple of zeroes.

I'm claiming that Democrats had a primary process that was rigged through superdelegates and having a DNC committee that sandbagged the election on behalf of Clinton. The Democrats had no rule against Sanders running, so why not just allow the voters to decide?
