The Bermuda Triangle ... what's the mystery?

I was just thinking what it is about the Bermuda Triangle that causes ships/planes to disappear without any trace. I don't know if there have been any recent disappearances, but there have been documented disappearances, that's for sure.

So what do you think the real mystery is? I really have no clue.
