Any odds on Gowdy even bothering to reconvene after this? Or the Dems on the committee just walking off? I can't see how this can continue now. Doing so just prolongs the embarrassment, but not doing so further cements it was in fact politically motivated.

How does one quantify that as a reportable fact?

Do people really read crap like this, and think it is valid? What is the requirement to discover such a source, consider its provenance, and determine on one's own volition that the information is sound?

A 3rd grade education, maybe? That must be it.

Hillary will be elected to the next POTUS based entirely on the fumbling incompetence and general pettiness of the adults in this country that dare to call themselves conservatives.

I think the funniest part is that the article about her 'lies' describes her testimony in transparently dishonest ways. How meta of them, haha.

I feel like it might not even be that people like boomerang are just easily duped, I think they WANT to be duped, because it validates their feelings.
 
Is it possible that those buying this election are more confident they will reap a larger return on Hilary than trump so they ordered the hearing yesterday to be botched?

Her own emails and conversation notes show that they knew, for a fact, that it was an organized terror attack by aq affiliates or another group who acted knowing there was a us ambassador in a weak position. If that is fact, then why did they lie to everybody it was the video for weeks afterwards?

How did hundreds of requests for support go unnoticed?

How did she not know her subordinates knew?

Why was sid Blumenthal involved at all?

So, to sum up. People who hate Hillary continue to hate Hillary because the only possible way they would ever like Hillary is if she peeled off her face to reveal that she's actually been Ronald Reagan in a mask this entire time. People who like Hillary now love Hillary. People who were on the fence about Hillary now see her as "Presidential" (this word has come up in basically every editorial I've seen) and see the Republicans as petty and wasteful. This was a massive fuck-up for Republicans, as their attempts to invigorate the base are driving away all of the undecideds that you actually need to win elections. Not one person who didn't already dislike Clinton thinks she came out of that ordeal looking worse. Not one. One of the most imbecilic political decisions I've seen since the annunciation of the Palin torpedoed McCain.
 
Was on the awful forums yesterday, they generally run quite liberal. Lots of them were switching from the Bernie camp to the Clinton camp after that showing, some were sticking with Bernie but saying that they felt much more comfortable voting for Clinton in the primary.

Feeling was that Republicans are snakes, and yesterday really highlighted that Clinton knows they are snakes, and knows how to deal with them. I really think her success yesterday cannot be overstated. She was never going to win over conservatives, but almost all of the support she had before the email bullshit and the Summer of Sanders is back.

Count me now all-in in the camp that YES - I will vote for Hillary Clinton 2016!

She has that killer stamina that I want fighting for me, against the World!

If she can take on the Republicans like that, YEAH - she's got my vote!
 
I must say, I was impressed. I like what Bernie is talking about, but she is a master politician who I think can actually get things done.

He desperately wants to be right while holding on to existing belief even when those things are incompatible.

Reconsideration is difficult for Righties because it can easily lead to questioning their entire structure of belief. Contrary evidence is immaterial. The answer to that is simply to believe more fervently.

The underlying tension in that is huge, of course, which is why they're so quick to anger & raving. They might as well just scream "Leave me alone!" even as they pontificate.
