The Bean got vandalized

Wow, that sucks...whoever did it needs to have "dumbfuck" carved into their foreheads. I love seeing the Bean whenever I visit Grant Park.
 
If you don't want people to mess with your shit, don't put it out in the public, or put 24 hr. guards on it.

i visited Chicago for the first time in October, I had a great time taking pictures of it.
 
The bean is a great example of humankind's great and complex attraction to all things shiny.
 
When the bean was first assembled, it was made from many different pieces of metal which were then polished to give it that "seamless shine." Although the damage sucks, I'm sure it can be polished out, just like all the seams.
