The Bean got vandalized

"The Bean", or "Cloud Gate" is a polished steel sculpture in downtown Chicago. Apparently two names were carved into its surface overnight.

Do a GIS (Google Image Search) of The Bean to get pictures (not of the damage).

When the bean was first assembled, it was made from many different pieces of metal which were then polished to give it that "seamless shine." Although the damage sucks, I'm sure it can be polished out, just like all the seams.
