The "Three B's" is nothing more than human mental desperation. In specifics, a manifestation of German nationalism out of a pipsqueak weakling who wanted to force a "Trinity" of musicians similar to that of the Holy Trinity.
Such desperation led to the grouping of Brahms with Beethoven and Bach. The first is a clearly inferior composer, of which his legacy would have been well served if he did to all of his published works what he did to his "inferior" works", which is to burn them them. Only exception is his lullaby, in which he can be distinguished in that everyone knows it but no one knows he wrote it.
Whereas, Mariah Carey actually does integrate the "writing style" of the western musical legacy around the time of Beethoven in almost perfect reproduction, as evidenced by key tracks with the in the Emotions and Music Box albums, specifically Emotions, You're So Cold, and Now That I Know.
Thus, I propose that proper musical trinity be the BBC.
