the fact is conservatives spend their time bringning up the subject. i watch bruce and arnold movies all the time, i don't care what their politics are.

Ive been called worse but I dont think it was by a poor democrat with no social life. (Taken from one of her previous postings here). All those posts, so little content.

I think that that was the "gist" of my post. I was answering the post just previous to mine. (Carstens I think, sorry if I didnt spell it correctly) I dont think of their politics I just watch who I like. Yeah, Chuck can really chew the scenery when he gets going. Lots of his old movies were like that but I think they liked that type then.

tom hanks works the nice guy card too much and tom cruise only acts with that foolish grin and is full of himself...what kind of man needs braces at his age? a truly shallow man...
 
tom hanks. well, cruise's early stuff was better. but yeah, he plays himself. the good-looking, smug, short guy.
 
I'll have to say Tom Cruise simply because he fits scifi roles like a glove where Hanks can't, and both can do serious films about equally well imo.
 
Tom Hanks for sure...not only is he a better actor, he's known as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. Tom Cruise is way over rated...I don't even think he's that great looking.

WTF was this all about and what were they thinking to have made it. Seemed to me to be a rip off of one of the scenes in "Airplane" where they went to Africa as Peace Corp members. Oh, yeah, Meg Ryan was in to also. 😱 I think her and Michelle Pfiffer also are soooo over rated but Id take MP over Meg any day.

Really? Well, I'd rather have a friend like Cruise than you. Oh wait, I don't know you? What makes you think you know who Tom Cruise really is? If you really think the people you see on screen are really like that in real life, not only is that a credit to the performance, but shows confused you are.

So he never had braces when he was young, didn't get them when he was a young actor because he needed the work and didn't want to lose any good roles, and now he has the security and confidence to finally fix his teeth. And here you are calling him shallow for that. Wow!

 
Tom Hanks is the modern day Gregory Peck. Whatever you put him in, he adds credibility to the story.

Tom Cruise is the modern day liberace. Whatever you put him in, he adds gayness. 🙂


ehh, i've enjoyed some of cruises movies tho, just not the giddy testosterone ones with lesbian costars...(i.e. kelly mcG.😀).
 
Yeah I like Tom Hanks much better. I've heard him compared to Jimmy Stewart, and I can see why. Appolo 13 rocked

I also heard that Tom Cruise grew up without a lot of money, in a single mom family, and probably couldn't afford braces when he was a kid. A lot of adults get braces, I wouldn't fault him for that.
