i pretty much skimmed the episode except for the fight scenes. Some pretty brutal deaths in there. I'll watch a couple more and hope the story gets better.

You don't hear an accent? Something English.

I do hear slight accent on some of the characters but nothing i can't understand. Although I do watch a lot of British tv shows so maybe I am more used to it.

2nd episode was a bit more interesting to me. I think I'll stick with it for now anyway.

So yeah, that was one of the most disgusting things I've seen. Nice that they moved her hair out of the way. Wouldn't want to get blood on it or anything. 🙄

for some reason my DVR is cutting off the last 10 or so minutes of the episodes.

I watched the last 2 online so i could see the endings. so i'm confused how the chamberlain figured out how that dude is not Maddux?

The original punisher had been at the castle before and they shortchanged him on his wages. So there were a couple of characters who knew what he looked like. I think the Chamberlain was one of them.

What's strange to me is why the chamberlain bothered supporting the lie. I think it was more to use as an excuse to get rid of his brother than anything else. Although after the tussle in the forest, he saw how good the executioner was with a sword.

No, the chamberlain of the baron that got killed. It was in the 3rd episode. That dude knew he was not who he said he was before he cut the nose off that girl.

Hmm, I don't recall another FX series that dared to show.. um.. the landing strip.
Not that you could see anything else, but still, I think it is a first.

As for the actual story line, still don't see where they are going yet.

Saw 5 minutes of this show flipping channels... I remember a threesome, that's about it.

This show is getting to be a grind.
I don't see this getting renewed, it has already lost more than half of its total viewers from episode 1...

I think I made it through 2.5 episodes before I quit watching. I guess he should have just made SOA with a horse gang that runs swords instead of guns.

The characters are growing on me, but the show feels like a set, with very limited exposure to the outside world. Their budget must be extraordinarily low. I will keep watching as it is still compelling.

So has anyone made it through this disaster?

I made it through 4-5 episodes just for laughs based on Sutter's past work with SOA. In retrospect I miss that show.

But this show is just painful.

Couldn't take it anymore...though, I do have them recorded.
It just couldn't get enough traction with the story line.
