The Aussies are sending their military to help us

It's like talking to a brick wall around here. And stop criticizing France. Why do some people in the US not like the French?

Good gesture mate BTW, I heard all u guys saying that the Aussie SAS is kickass, really good etc. How do they have such a fearsome reputation? To be honest I havent heard a lot about them. Can someone give an example of their bravado? Take notice, I am kinda ignorant of the topic and not been sarcastic here, so please no flames

About an example, this is from the Korean War in 1951:

On the evening of 22 April, Chinese forces attacked the Kapyong valley and forced South Korean and New Zealand troops into retreat; other UN troops, including Australians, were ordered to halt the attack. After a night of fierce fighting, during which their positions were overrun, the Australians recaptured their postions and stalled the Chinese advance, at a cost of only 32 men killed and 53 wounded. For their contribution to this action, 3 RAR was awarded a US Presidential Citation.

I saw a documentary on it, and the Chinese army was HUGE. In the Battle of Kapyong Valley there were 100's of 1000's(at least a quarter of a million I believe) of Chinese troops and only 5000 Australians. Quite amazing.
