my god, I'm still waiting for her to bend over and reload so she can tell me more about this great system.

Wait, you mean the Pentium III hasn't been awarded processor of the year for the last 5 years?

Now she's saying that if its not an "Enhanced" Athlon (thunderbird), the its not running at the clock speed advertised. That makes no sense, maybe its not as powerful, but its definately running at the clock speed advertised. Why, why do they have to have such stupid people pimping these systems. Someone should sue them for false advertising.

Now she's saying the "cache memory" (L2 cache) is faster, because of the 200mhz FSB. She doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.

I mean its a Tbird 900 with an 8mb ATI Rage. What a waste!

Sorta like a Mac Cube or G4...nice processor, but...

I can't watch home shopping network computer sales. They frighten me too much.

Actually, she sounds better than I would. I would just say: See, you turn it on, and it runs! Isn't that just amazing? :D

How about this one I seen.

"With this system you get a DURON 800MHZ that literaly blows the socks off of any other of the processors out there."

Yeah it's a good processor but it's by far not the best.

"This system has a TV output connector. You don't need to buy a separate DVD player for your TV. Just connect a cable from your computer to your TV and it's ready to go. You can't get this anywhere else, folks. We pioneered TV output technology for the computer."

I heard this on some rinky-dink second-rate local home shopping channel last week. I was channel surfing and stopped because I saw a PC on the screen and wanted some amusement.

It must have one powerful fan!
Come to think of it, when did CPUs start wearing socks???
