I have come close once or twice for very minor things so no, it's not that difficult.
I could give you some hints but I don't want to get banned.

I got a one month ban once by referring in jest to "the nazi mod", and one of the moderators took it personally I guess. This was back when they were faceless and not accountable, and their actions were often high handed.

I got a ban once for posting a link to a .txt file that had a coupon code. I explicitly followed the rules, but still got a ban :^D

I embedded a picture of some girl in not-revealing-at-all shorts, nowhere near as revealing as tons of cheesecake that gets posted here, and got a 2 week ban. That mod just doesn't like me.

Edit: so I found the image I embedded. I'll link to it, but say that it's nsfw if you work in a Mormon church. It's just a girl with some not-very-tight daisy dukes with the confederate flag on them.
