I heard their song The Boys of Summer on MTV and it has caught on to me. I really like the song. Do they have any other songs like it?

Their other singles suck IMO. Such is usually the case for new bands that release covers as breakthrough singles.

its not emo, its whiny, sentimental pop punk.
the whole last album sounds like one boring song.

the band was handed to that guy. hired guns playing with some dork who threw his demo tape up on stage at a vandals concert. they're the punk version of the backstreet boys: put together by producers to make money. all of which would be ok if they didn't suck and they weren't ruining the concept of phase-four emo for the masses. the bands who are both talented and have paid their dues may never get a chance to shine because crap bands like the ataris are representing the genre.

I used to be a heavy listener... then I got a wife :). Yes, wife. Now I occassionally listen. My friend and I once drove three hours to see them in concert when they were nothing abut a little tiny group. There were about 15 people at the concert. Hey, at least we got to hear a band called Beefcake while we were there.

Any band that makes it big because of butchered covers sucks.

So many bitter people...boys of summer isn't their main song...it's just the one that gets played on the radio all the time now so that's how people know them. Their new album isn't bad but I mean their old stuff is a lot better....

Yes, they're immature, but whatever

I was never much of a fan. I have a few of their albums (Blue Skies, End is Forever, Let it Burn split).

They are OK. Not great.

dude they've been paying their dues for the last five or more years, and have released 5 albums. they just recently signed onto columbia, and maybe thats why you are hearing of them now.

blue skies, broken hearts is probably their best album imho.
