Anyone getting sick of this game? I played it for a month or 2 and I just lost interest. Weird

Went back to play MW2 few days ago and brought back some memories. MW2 is certainly much more intense gaming experience (not saying BETTER) they are both totally different beasts.

Yea, same here.

I just need a break from the game. In the meantime, I've been playing Halo3 and Reach Beta, and I've been completing some SNES games that I've never beaten before.

1. How do I check the kill list? Like who killed who? Anyway to access the last whatever lines of that list?
2. Sometimes when I zoom in with a sniper it's like bloom turns on for a location where it shouldn't happen...

We know of an issue where if you have an order/"spotted" placed when the round ends you won't be able to place an order/spot in the following round.

That is probably what you are seeing.

1) you can see who you knifed. thats about it
2) this happens regardless of snipers.

There's a really bad defib exploit. I got caught by the abuser. He can somehow defib me (who was on the other team) back alive and proceeded to shoot me as I'm getting up. Rinse and repeat. Probably point farming. DICE's work is getting sloppier and sloppier.

Also wanted to say that after the RPG/CG nerf, now the medics are back in full force. Today I had to fight off a squad of 4 medics in lighthouse. They simply camped there and revived each other. For first 2 times, I could kill 2-3 guys with my AK74 and CG blast, but it's always the last guy that can defib one guy and then 2 of those medics defib the rest of the team, all in 2 seconds (plus invulnerability) while I'm reloading. Defibilirator needs to be nerfed so that you HAVE to stay on the spot for at least 2-3 seconds while reviving your team mate.

Oh and that lighthouse? Why isn't it destructible? I know it's the lynchpin for offense and defense, but making it an impenetrable tower is really hampering the enjoyment of that section of the map. Especially for the defenders on Stage 3. Either move back the defender's spawn into the forest, to allow for some reasonable cover for counter-sniping, or make that tower destructible. Doesn't have to collapse, simply let us make holes so the snipers doesn't have uber-shield.

I don't think I'd be leading games in kills repeatedly if I was.

BC2 has LOTS of random elements to it. Never mind the exploits or map/class imbalance. When I'm defending, the AI LOVES to spawn me next to the gunfire. Quite often, I'm spawned into middle of mortar strikes.

Even as attacker, I have to constantly watch for gunfire from back. There's always those sneaky sniper/engi that sneaks back to your old positions and shoot you from the back. You can't really counter them without wasting tons of effort.

Then there's always the idiot teammates....

correct me if i'm wrong, but there is a revive invulnerability period put in exactly for situations where you might get kidnapped like that.

what's annoying is i've run into some morons who defib kill their own teammates and revive them for the whole round and they end up with the highest score at the end... something about scoring seems very unbalanced.

out of curiousity, did it happen while playing Hardcore or Normal?

That period is pointless, when the guy's basically aiming at you 5 feet away with his medic LMG. He can even reload his gun while you're down, and then perform the exploit.

I mainly play HC mode, so I don't know if this is just as bad in regular mode. Video for it:

One of the commenter mentioned the same name that I was getting exploited under. I'm surprised DICE hasn't banned these idiots (pretty easy to tell via logs) or fix the damn glitch.

its not a glitch. it's been around as long as revive has been around in BF. it's not even as bad as it is in 2142/BF2 since there's invulnerability period.

how would you like them to fix this? the are even considering removing invulnerability because of all the complaining.

btw, lighthouse with destruction 2.0 would be AWESOME lol.
imagine bringing it down and killing all the snipers in there with destruction 2.0.

I've noticed after taking a week or so off that I'm not competitive anymore. Not that I'm great at FPS's, but I was holding around/better than 1:1 k2d before. All of a sudden, I'm going 1:3 or worse, and getting killed by a lot more 1-shot/headshots than I was a couple weeks ago, while it's taking me a whole clip with guns like the AN-94 to take people down, at point-blank. Is there some kind of new hack going around, or do I just magically suck worse than before?

What's really pissing me off is that I'm getting killed by 1 or 2 shots from a PISTOL after unloading 20 rounds from a rifle into somebody. This is happening A LOT now.

Take a look at the DenKirson charts for per bullet damage for the pistols. The MP-412 is 40 per bullet! The M1911 is > 33. If they are on target...it's magic!

Still, half a clip from 6' away from an AR and they walk away from it? Really? It's not like I'm shooting at their toes or anything.

imo you are probably having a suck fest....also, the an-94 is pretty shitty close range unless you bunnyhop and spam. sometimes games suck like this.

It could just be bad luck. I'll have games where I can do no wrong, everywhere I go people seem to run into my bullets. Other times, it's the complete opposite and I can't walk anywhere without getting killed.
