How long is the outage, instantly, one hour, or a day and a half like the beta.
 
Hey guys, I have a friend who is having a hell of a time trying to get this game working. He can't even connect to EA to play single player. Anyway, each time he tries to connect to a server he gets this message ""CONNECTION TO THE SERVER HAS BEEN LOST. CHECK YOUR NETWORK SETTINGS AND TRY AGAIN LATER" He's bypassed his router, disabled all firewalls and anti-viruses and is ready to sell the game on eBay. I've been working with him trying to get him up and running but he's not having any luck, he can't even play single player which i've never heard before. Any ideas?
 
If you guys think having to play against an all sniper team sucks then you haven't faced the dreader all medic team on a map without vehicles.

I dunno

the day ojne map at night, I lined a team up doing endless revives with the M60 and a grenade, 3 double kills in a row 😀

but it does get annoying

Do a fresh format and try again.
 
+285 marksman headshot, my personal best so far

takes a lot of luck really, I am content with just hitting them (since its hardcore usually, and that will be enough to kill them), but headshot at those ranges is a nice bonus. :awe:

How can you guys snipe someone from halfway across the map? Do the upgraded rifles have a better scope because to me someone that far away would look like a spec.

Yeah, you get a 12x scope upgrade eventually, but even then for shots that far the guys are pretty small, here is a cropped screen of where he was right after the shot through the 12x.

Head was slightly smaller than the mil dots, reticle is approximately where I had to aim to hit him.

Weird, running it as administrator fixed my ping issues, but also made it so auto hotkey doesn't work at all, I guess punkbuster doesn't work correctly without administrator.

I'll live without pings so that I can have crouch toggle thank you very much.

Oh, I hate punk buster too so, anyway I can screw with that is a plus. :awe:

fwiw - I use a Nostromo N52 to play. You can program any key with a macro, so I have a key programmed to hold the crouch. Then I have one of my mouse thumb buttons for regular crouching. Best of both worlds.
 
Theres a hacker on our server. Using red dot M60, single shotting from crazy ranges and only getting headshots. Score is like 50-2

Edit. Game name is Grizzly702.

No doubts he was hacking now. Every single kill was a headshot.
