Personally I think it's a little much. Digitally augmented T&A. Massive airbrushing. Pose correction. Even changed his lighting. Have much more respect for photographers that take the time to get the shot right before the shutter gets clicked.

dude, 95.824% of all magazine shots with models are retouched digitally in one way or another.

I can accept retouched photos that are done well. For the most part, his isn't so good.

But I think the worst retouching I've ever seen is the ad for Into The Blue.

Well I guess that means I don't have respect for 95.824% of the magazine shots out there. I'm not a fan of the Maxim/FHM everything-airbrushed-to-perfection look. Ever wonder how in the world people got beautiful pictures prior to digital retouching?

ya people ate and were prettier back then ;)

I know where your getting at, I was a film, dark room, getting high on the fumes photographer for a while. But digital is the next step and if you don't get with the times your gonna get left behind in the art store collecting dust. But if that's your think more power to you.

Sorry, but I'm not too impressed with his work. I do admit that it isn't an easy task though.

Only contact information is e-mail? Geez! :/

Do you have a link to other/better samples?
Yes! Here you go....

Edit: Well, never mind! There are no original pictures in my link to compare them.

Doh... thanks for trying though :p

Some of this do look rather cartoonish. Pretty good though, I usually can't tell what's been done until I click over it... he really likes to enlarge breasts as butts!

It looks like a lot of it is skin toning.

I would really like to learn the arts though. My photographer did an excellent job without touching. He's going to touch it. I expect to see the result.

Dezign, do you still want me to link to the photographer I mentioned earlier?

I'm not saying that digital as a whole is bad. I just don't like the massive retouching that everyone's doing. The way I think, the more you can do in front of the lens the better, so yeah more power to me I guess.
