These days, "mailing it in" ought to mean doing way more work than necessary, e.g. mailing in a check instead of paying online :)

I RARELY mail ANYTHING anymore. It is too much effort--if I can't pay it online at the vendor's site, I configure it with my bank's Online Bill Pay system.
