The answer to societies problems.

I thought about it. Pure idiotic drivel.

"bigger buildinings but narrower viewpoints" -- our views are far broader today than in the past.
"bigger houses but enjoy less" -- wtf would the two have to do with each other
"more compromises but less time" -- again, wtf does agreeing with others have to do with time?
"more talk but less love" -- same idiocy

and the worst of all

"more liberty but less joy" -- screams totalitarinaism. "having to make decisons is just too much work"

boo-urns.

i didt look at that link but i can tell you right now the answer to societies problems is mor boobies....you can never have enough jubblies!! 😛

"More Medicines, but less health"?

Hmm... Last time I checked, we're much more healthy than say, 200 years ago.

And as for loving "only a little"? Bah. I love plenty.

Oh, and as for enjoying every day as if it were our last (e.g. reading a book, doing those chores we need to, etc)? Most of us have something called WORK. It's not as if we have the luxury of eing able to just lounge around on our porches every day or chill with the neighbors. There's nothing I'd like more.

I think what they meant was more medicine and less avalable/attainable health care services.

I'm thinking they meant more medicine, but people not taking care of themselves as much (i.e. poor diets, lack of exercise, etc.). Regardless, it was typical manipulative propoganda.

There IS a point there. People spend sooo much time trying to build a better life that always seems to be in the future, that they don't enjoy the "now." Think about this: how happy is Donald Trump. Everybody knows who he is, he has all the money that he needs, and he changes wives every few years for a younger, prettier model. But does he look like the type of guy who enjoys life at all? At the end of the day, he probably goes to bed dissatisfied.

To solve some of society's problems, I propose the following:

1) Use the death penalty more often. Repeat violent criminals, rapists, and child molesters who are convicted three times automatically get killed on the third conviction with no chance of appeal. You may not have done it one of those three times, but you deserve it for at least one of the other two.

2) If a prison gets too crowded, we randomly pick the names of all those serving five or more years out of a hat. Those picked are executed until we have enough room for the newest inmates.

3) Elected officials caught on tape taking bribes are executed upon conviction. No appeal and the trial will occur within three months at most without further delay.

4) No more luxuries while in prison--no tv, no healthcare beyond what is required to keep you alive with minimal effort, and no religious rights. If not having a sex change depresses you so much that you want to kill yourself, you will be given the right to kill yourself. If the medical bill to keep you alive at any month would be more than what the lowest paid guard at the prison is paid each month, you will be killed to make room for the next inmate.

Really lame. Whoever wrote that is lame.

People had a lot of kids back in the day because there was no effective birth control and they needed lots of kids to help take care of the farm.

If you want to fix society then you need to do like the bonobos do. Use sex to solve all your problems.

Hot chick cut you off in rush hour traffic? No problem. She'll bend over at the next light.
Boss not give you a raise? No problem, she'll bend over after the review.
Girl you like not wanna go out on a date? No problem. She'll blow you for a wooden nickel.

I was walking around today, and like, I saw a dead bird and like, it was a sign, like the entropy in our society, and how everything is falling apart, and like birds are dying.

I MEAN BIRDS ARE DYING!

For #2, it should limited to violent criminals only.

Damnit if that was enforced my hospital would lose ALOT of money....we'll often have 1-2 dozen prisoners from various prisons at any one time and well sometimes it is strange to me but we still have to treat their disease state/illness with the same aggresiveness as anyone else in te hospital.

Meh, why give them three chances? Sell them as slaves to fight in arenas after the first conviction.
