You can set up any kind of tournament you want, any rules, any number of races. You can lock them to just your friends by giving out the code, or making them public. The points you gain or lose contribute to your regular online standing as well.

I spent hours last night online, winning and losing and ended up at 1002. Theres already people out there with well above 1500 and thats just what I know about.
 
You know that you can update the threat title, if you edit and then click advanced, right?

I don't have MK8, but the title annoys me enough to comment. =)
 
I might have to bring my Wii U home for this, once I get MK8 on Tuesday (hopefully, if my pre-owned order from Best Buy comes in).
