Hello, I've been coming to anandtech since I was in Jr High! over 15 years, and had never joined the forums, always read component reviews to build computers.

Now I'm a Network Infrastructure Engineer at a gaming company, after having owned an ISP for some time.

Love Anandtech!

Hi,

Long time news reader/commenter. Never checked out the forums before. But now I have a forum account, so I'll be checking it out!

Hi everyone. I'm a longtime lurker (and occasional poster) on both the website and forums.

Like others here, I'm an engineer who is interested in computers and electronics. These days I work as much with photons as I do with electrons.

Hi everyone! My name is Alon, and I work in IT.
I'm a long time reader of AnandTech, but I've been a lurker 'till now. AnandTech for life! 🙂

Hello, my name is Stuka and I'm an alcoho.... huh? oh, wrong forum.

I mostly hang out in the GPU and PC Gaming areas. But venture into other area too. Used to work in Fiper Optic/CATV manufacturing, but now work in software development.

Hi, long time reader and new forumgoer. Finally upgraded my old Lynnfield to Skylake last week, but I am still holding out for a new generation of gpus before I replace my old 6950 (yes, I'm on a long upgrade cycle >.<). Hoping that the 11 month old GM204 can get displaced sooner rather than later so I don't feel the need to spend $500+ on fiji!

Hello everyone! I am a long time reader and occasionally browse the forums. I am in hardware repair doing break/fix calls on the road. I have been building my own PC'S since 1997 and have been reading anandtech for almost as long.

Josh

Hi, iv been browsing these forums for sometime but only comment every so often or when im back into the pc hardware side of things, I tend to flip flop from researching mobile or desktop hardware.

Nice thread. Membership just climbed 5000%!!! 😉

I work in IT for the retail industry. Before that I did PC repair at a local store.

I like to help folks when I can on the tech side, but occasionally move around to other areas of the forums.

I'm a cranky, kinda anti-social nerd and I'm only posting here in the hopes of getting one of these lovely screwdrivers. I do love the articles on the website-proper, but I really have no use for the forums.

dayum, the lurkers are coming out of the woodwork.

about me .. i've been lurking since 2000~ish, on and off. got active when i built my first pc,in 2007 (?)

i'm a very unsuccessful audio tech who is currently warming a chair at IBM. hopefully i'll start building my studio next year and on my way to do that for a living.

my hobby is FPS games; i'm italian AND i have nearly 7 years of experience in restaurants, so that makes me quite anal about food.

also, not sonic: do not want.

For quite a few years now, the news and forum sides of AnandTech have been a bit separated. Readers tended to stick to the articles and forum-goers stuck to the forums. This has never been a bad thing, but we think it would be even better if everybody got to know each other and experience the entirety of AnandTech. This is your chance to make it happen.

For all of you folks who are new to the forums, make sure to drop in for a friendly conversation in Politics and News!

P.S. - Please give me a screwdriver...
