Hmm I think I am gonna go play for about a half hour anyone else in? Oh and I preordered 2 copies of the se for me and a friend they were $57.21 Canadian each with taxes... on dvd with a headset... not a bad price eh?

Origional BF1942 is in the works. Let me see what I can do about the rotation of this server... problem is that everyone wants different maps or rotations :(

Well, I think vanilla BF1942 is good. BUT, have you taken a look at Desert Combat or Eve of Destruction mods?
I know both are still thier alpha/beta stages, but they run and look pretty good.

Just my one and a half cents.

PSA: speed hacks are now in use on many public servers. you'll know it when you see it, the person disapears then re apears somewhere else almost instantly.

you mean teleporting from node to node?

if not, it did hit me once, when I was playing CTF on the ARS server...one dood go in and was fast as hell...no, not the speed adrenline either, I mean fast...

maybe there's already a hack already. Does anyone know if there's punkbuster for this game?

also, I noticed that my hard drive had a weird folder created when I was playing the demo....wonder if this demo has the same hack as UT...that would suck :|

I hope you don't mean the Translocator. That's a tool you use in the game to teleport yourself forward or up to high places. It's mainly used on Bombing Run.

Dev, can you turn off tournament mode? Otherwise, of anyone one wants to jump there by themselves....game won't start until another player joins.

Its a possibility but its not always down ;). Its on a brand new server and lately it hasent been shuting it self off.

I will however, consider that option.
