I'm not a fan of either team, but despite lousy play the last few weeks I think Chicago will make for a much more competitive series vs Tampa so I'll be rooting for them.

The #1 reason I hate the Twins. They scratch their way to the playoffs every year and then get swept in the first round because they suck.

I know it will not be the freakin Tigers after they gave away thier future for Rentera, Willis and Jaque Jones. Jones was released mid season, Willis is damaged goods and Rentera will be "giving" $3,000,000 to get rid of him. fuckin a

ZOMG, chisox w/ 1 run lead in the 8th!

anyone got a ticket to sell? I passed on 2 for $40 each because im stupid.

Ouch 🙁 Ticketmaster was insane yesterday. They sold out in minutes and the start time wasn't announced.

Ticketmaster is retarded, they don't have a system to prevent reseller scripts from hogging all the tickets.

and they never will. they don't give a fuck if resellers get all the tickets. as long as they sale out.

You know waggy, sometimes I wonder if the resellers are run by ticketmaster themselves. Sort of like ebay sellers who jackup the price of their own auction, but in this case, ticketmaster buys all their own tickets (or pretend like they did) then resell it under a different company for a lot more money. Even more profit.

wouldnt suprise me. it seems they always get the best tickets and lots of them before they sale out

Another low scoring affair. BORING. Bad decision to tag up on that fly ball. Not even close.

You need to pick another sport to follow. That was the most exciting sporting event that I've ever seen. Of course being there made it even sweeter!

Every single out was so intense. Just bought tickets to game 3 🙂

Edit - also, that was a great decision to run on the fly ball. In a no run game, that run is huge, and anything but a perfect throw and he is out.

Are you kidding? I don't even like baseball, but I found that game riveting.

I made that comment before the Thome home run. I expected both pitchers to get rocked but Danks owned the Twins and Blackburn somehow shut the ChiSox down except for the Thome HR.

You said it was a low-scoring affair before there was any score?

Anyway, it was a tight, exciting game.

Well, obviously for the game to end someone has to score but 0 - 0 heading into the 7th, you'd expect the game to end with a low score.

Yup, every play and every out mattered last night 🙂 Now 3 of their pitchers have won huge games going into the playoffs.

Are you one of those guys that likes baseball games where the score is 8 to 5?
