What does your metro card terms of use agreement say?? What does it say in the fine print?

I think it sucks unless it was explained in any paperwork you received, if that is the case then it your own fault.

ok, guy's I'm not an NYC resident, but let me try to explain what a metro card is.

it is a tiny little card with a magnetic strip, that is like a credit card, except for use for MTA services.....subways and buses. its much easier to use the metrocard and swipe @ the turnstile than fishing around loose pocket change for a token.

why is he fined? beats the hell outta me.

Wouldn't they just say, "Oh sorry, you can't use this on a holiday, please pay the fare."

And why can't you use it on a holiday? How are you supposed to go home from college?

I always use my MetroCard on school off days.
LOL, i didnt know they actully fine you ahahah.

Next time i will check if cops are around.
Metrocard= Cards with fares to ride NYC Public Transportation Subway and Bus.
 
oh, he got fined because
student metrocard has 3 free fares weekdays to get to and from school and can be use for that purpose only.
 
If you do it on the bus you'll get the card taken away, if you do it in the subway you may get a 60 buck fine.

consider yourself lucky kiddo, and tell your parents to get off their cheap butts and buy you a $3 metrocard, sure beats payin 60.
