The Amazing Race 14 Emmy award winning series

I used to love that show, but it's gotten extremely predictable and repetitive.

Every show is basically: go somewhere, complete some task, go to the airport, get one of two or three flights, go to some other place, end up waiting for the place to open so all the teams are bunched back up again, complete task, eliminate one team.

They really need to get rid of the forced "re-grouping" parts where all the teams are forced back into the pack.

You would think after all the Emmy's they would already be doing it in HD, anyhow time to thread checkout so I don't get spoilered.

I have to wonder how dumb these people are. Once the carrier breaks the solution should be obvious. You've got a couple of long pieces of flat board, some rope and a steep hill. Tie the cheese onto the board and use it as a sled. Gravity becomes your best friend and you can do the whole load in one trip.

Yup Amanda and Tammy are yummy. Now with that out of the way, them being in Switzerland and NOT doing the show in HD is just a crime. The bungee jump was badass, the cheese task was holy fucking shit rough. I don't like the hick dude and I cant see them making it very far. I was shocked they didn't come in last tonight.

I started to wonder why some didn't just roll them down the hill, there didn't seem to be any rule, just get them down the hill. I agree though the sled the hick guy did was the best.

The hick dudes wife is going to drag them into the dumper soon, she's worse than worthless. But you have to give the hick dude himself a lot of credit. They survived because he figured out how to get the cheese down the hill more efficiently than anyone else. 10 other teams, 20 other people and he was the only one that thought it through.

not really possible. Each team is accompanied by a sound and camera person. The rotate frequently to avoid the crew being able to influence the game in any way. They also need to have crew meetings to discuss production issues and the turn in dailies.
