i am thinking about building a new machine, with an athlon64 3000+ and an asus k8v MB. I'm trying to find a good case, any ideas? I've mainly been looking at Coolermaster (wavemaster and praetorian) and Lian-Li. but Lian-Li has so many cases, I don't know where to start! help!

chieftec/antec dragon type cases. there are many variations on basic layout, but all have great cooling/roominess/ease of access/ and clean look. windows are nice and fun, drive bay door hides ugly optical drives. no point in case without a door that looks nice only before you ugly it up with an optical drive. plus the door muffles noise a bit, and hides power button. aluminum versions aren't much more. lian li's are pretty, but not as good for cooling.

I love my coolermaster. I have a 201B-SX, but it's functionally identical to the Praetorian. Great cooling, easy to work in, and one of the best looking cases out there IMO. :D

I LOVE my Antec SLK-3700. It comes with 1 120mm fan (with a place to mount another one, for exhaust), and an Antec 350 watt psu, and the hard-drive cage is removable, and sits in front of the 120mm intake fan. I only paid about $90 for it from newegg, shipped.
