i just tried out ie

gotta love system-crippling flash ads coupled with irritating popups. i'm glad i use firebir

adshield in IE blocks popups, delayed popups, banner ads, and flash ads

Maybe so, but going back to IE would be similar to trading in a BMW for a Ford Tempo.

im wondering that myself. i think one of the first ones that popped up was an image and now it blocks the flashes too

Heh.. in some other thread someone posted a list of websites to put in your hosts file to map ad sites to 127.0.0.1, and it turns out these ads are served from one of those sites. So I have a little 404 box on the left side of my browser... lol.
