On the Sci-Fi channel right now. Great, GREAT movie. One of my favorites :D

Virgil: God damn it, you bitch. You never backed away from anything in your life. Now fight.
[Slaps Lindsay]
Virgil: Fight.

I remember watching this in my 8th grade science class. The teacher had to tape a sheet of paper to the TV during the scene where the chick's shirt gets ripped off so we couldn't see her tits (or tit, I cant remember if both were shown or not.)

this movie had the worst ending ever. now the directors cut was a little better but the original cut that was shown in the theater had a HORRIBLE ending.

that stupid plastic dish floating to the surface was one of holywoods worst.

It wasn't really an alternate ending, so much as an alterate spin on the ending. It's interesting how the addition of just a few extra clips can change a movie so much.

I preferred the in-theater version.

The alternate version took away a lot of the sense of wonder of the in-theater version.
