POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN THE THREAD

I watched it last night and it was a great movie for about 90% of it. It had a very creepy atmosphere and honestly probably had the scariest atmosphere I've ever seen in a horror movie, especially of recent time.

It had a decent story coming along and it really intrigued me to see just exactly how it ended and how they explained stuff.

Then the end comes - and it just made no sense to me at all.

And that's why I'm making this thread. Can anyone who saw it please explain the ending to me?

The one thing I kept saying to my girlfriend throughout the movie was just how freaking great the atmosphere was in the movie. It just feels so damn creepy and eerie ... it sucks no one else has seen this to discuss it with!

I love the atmosphere in old scary movies... like Salem's Lot and Damien... or Evil Dead, to an extent. Newer ones with a nice freaky atmosphere like Event Horizon are great too. Man, I love a good horror flick. I'm a little picky, although I do like the original Exorcist and a lot of my friends think it isn't scary at all.

I was just as confused at the ending. Though the ghosts were pretty cool and spooky! The beginning was awesome!
