This looks like a random script Hollywood shit out, and somebody shoe-horned in the A-Team franchise to keep it from failing miserably.
Everyone is horribly miscast, and Liam Neeson is an especially bad choice, making the Suck all the more obvious.

Your description is exactly what I am afraid will happen. I don't know WTF they were thinking with casting Liam Neeson, but I hope it works out better than I think it will.

The original A-Team is a classic and I am afraid this will tarnish the legacy. I will see it, however.

I don't have how stupid it is. It looks ridiculously stupid-funny. As long as they use about 200 kilotons of various ordinance, and still miss just about everyone they shoot it... it's pure A-Team, and I am so there.
