Good article. The Strid is the one that is most scary. Innocent looking, 100% mortality rate. That's a problem right there.

I wonder how many corpses are in the Strid. People know about it now, but back in the day(most of the days before today) I don't imagine many knew of it, and it looks like a nice place to get cleaned up, or a drink of water.

It's probably not a straight drop. The Yorkshire area is a well-known example of extremely eroded limestone. Millions of years from now, assuming that England continues to get rainfall, it'll probably look like that site in Madagascar at the beginning of the article.
