Yeah, not too exciting race I have to say.

Alonso was perfect as usual. Good to see Button getting back in the groove.

Kimi drove well, but he was not fast enough on the softer compound.. but his move on Di Resta was fantastic. Excellent race by the two Saubers, their duel with FI was interesting at the beginning. Massa can blame no one but himself.

I laughed very hard when Ham unlapped himself againt Vettel, it was funny.. but I don't see the reason why RB guys are pissed off at Ham.

Think it's a bit of a pity, as, while the move was a tad on the wide side, Jenson did cross the lines with his left wheels, while Seb was alongside him.
But yeah, he went a bit deep on that one.
Still, closing in and letting Jenson crash into him would've been a worse choice.
Best would've probably been to let him re-pass, as he could've redone the pass during the next lap. But for that the situation was a tad ambiguous...

Still, the penalty might be a bit over the top. Oh well, let's see what next week brings. Alonso's performances are getting pretty scary, reminds me of 2010, when Ferrari also got so damn fast, starting around Hockenheim.

not my favorite race this season, but i'm just glad to have the summer break over with 🙂

grosjean will be banned from the next race for causing 1 hell of a crash, and maldonado has 2 5-place penalties coming to him (jump start, causing a collision)

Did they confirm that Maldonado jumped? It wasn't clear on TV but I expect the telemetry would show for certain.

Alonso was lucky that his points situation didn't end up worse.

Too bad Schuey lost a gear. I think he was going to have a good day.

For only the second time this year an F1 race is on a weekend I'm off. Excited!! Lots of rumblings that Hamilton is going to sign with Mercedes. I don't see it happening. He's way to competive to sign with a car that isn't championship competive with a company talking of cutting back from the sport. Just doesn't make sense.

i hope you got to enjoy the race, i certainly did! 😀

i agree with you about hamilton - mercedes doesn't make sense. but then again neither does trashing your team and posting top secret charts on twitter. his management is screwing him and putting ideas in his head, while promising he'll be the next david beckham (also their client) or michael jordan or something.
