The 20 Worst Foods of 2009

The worst food of 2009
Baskin-Robbins Large Chocolate Oreo Shake
# 2,600 calories
# 135 g fat (59 g saturated fat, 2.5 g trans fats)
# 263 g sugars
# 1,700 mg sodium

We didn't think anything could be worse than Baskin-Robbins' 2008 bombshell, the Heath Bar Shake. After all, it had more sugar (266 grams) than 20 bowls of Froot Loops, more calories (2,310) than 11 actual Heath Bars, and more ingredients (73) than you'll find in most chemist labs. Rather than coming to their senses and removing it from the menu, they did themselves one worse and introduced this caloric catastrophe. It's soiled with more than a day's worth of calories and three days' worth of saturated fat, and, worst of all, usually takes less than 10 minutes to sip through a straw.

Reese?s® Peanut Butter Cup Sundae

Three scoops of Reese?s Peanut Butter Cup ice cream topped with layers of Reese's Peanut Butter Sauce, chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, hot fudge and whipped cream on top!

Cream mentioned only twice 🙁

half the cream = half the calories? Roughly 600-650 calories per mention of the word cream in the description?
:Q

scandalous!

Well that explains why it's half the calories; it's only half as creamy.

Dammit venkman!

All of their alternate suggestions are 300-500 calories. I need way more than that per meal just to maintain my weight...

Legend tells of a legendary shake whose deliciousness was the stuff of legend.

It is said that customers would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!

Picture one of those 1/3 pound hamburger patties. Now picture a glob of pure fat the same size. That's what you're eating.

Sorry, I was inaccurate. The glob of pure fat would actually be larger than the hamburger patty, being less dense.

That is some delicious fat. Is there bacon thrown on for good measure, and is the bacon fat used as gravy for biscuits?

The fat is key.

All right, then.

My sister's boyfriend picked me up a large oreo shake once.

Dear God.

I fought through 3/4 of it, but in the end i was defeated.

Also, why is this list called the 20 "Worst" foods? These things sound fucking awesome. Terrible for you, sure, but since when is healthiness the only part of food we consider (judging by the obesity problem in America, never)?
