Well, some of them were only annoying due to the excessive airplay when they were popular. Most truly are annoying. Fucking Cotton-Eyed Joe should be #1.
 
Meh. There are a lot of annoying songs out there, some of which are on that list, but I wouldn't consider any of these to be annoying:

Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Semisonic - Closing Time

Overplayed, perhaps. But that's just me.

I agree, it's a great song. I'm also a big fan of "Swimming in Your Ocean" and "Afternoons And Coffeespoons".
 
I can only argue with a couple there.

However, they forgot "Are you Jimmy Ray" by Jimmy Ray. That should be on there.
 
I agree with a bunch of those...Surprised that Barbie Girl didn't make #1. Just the way the song is sung and the voice are enough to drive me through a wall.

# 19 is fucking wrong.

But I agree with most of that list. Especially Spice Girls and Aqua. Anything where preppie white girls try to be badass ends up sounding stupid. They have to be black, or genuinely badass bitches. And even though Pink is a bad ass bitch, some of her stuff is pretty annoying.
