You guys are so much fun, I couldn't bear to loose both of you ! (Neurodog and biodoc)

But now you can fight sort of like MM and I do.

As for trying to lure a dragon, not sure it's such a good idea...

Bigger, Mark, think bigger. No sense letting that land sit growing weeds.

Oh and I have central air, thats just to vent the hot air out when I don't need AC, just a little airflow. Sometimes just that room is hot, and the fan does fine.

I think I saw a news report today that the ozone has a new hole, widening somewhere over Oregon.

With all the boxes except for this one, no real troubles. That being said, this one has me
confused.

CPU-Z data: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=275193

Mild overclock, temps even at full tilt are sub-56... RAM stable and pi
tests OK as well as long term BOINC output. I also tried stock clock. Didn't help.

Several very clean (wipe directory and registry, reboot and reinstall) tries
and still I'm getting these errors. After four days, I'll leave it to the
experts.

Back to BOINC on this box, for now....

NOTE: I threw 4 more cores on tonight, so I'm still on the + side. 😀

Just let it go... It will give you the points soon, its a normal(BS, but real) thing....You have to trun it back on to get the points. Pisses me off too when it does this, but....

I have a LOT of patience, but failing for four days straight doesn't work for me....

Completed Dec 5th... Thats today. If you don't continue, you loose almost 2000 points (and I am rooting for the other team ? I should have my head examined)

I amsume that a SMP unit.

It picked up a new WU and was going to work on that while the other one was being held for future attempts to send. I see this here too. Sometimes the Stanford servers just don't accept the completed work for a while. If you don't do anything, it's usually only a matter of a few hours.

-Sid

But it's all good. I'm glad you have the others running ok.

Well, JeffCos, I think we are doing very nice:

Day 2 __________ 9 394 points ________ Folders win this day!
Day 3 ----------- Teams adjusted --------- no numbers available.
Day 4 _________ 10 658 points ________ Folders win this day!
Difference: ___ _ 10 658 points ________ Folders in the lead.

Top producer for the folders: Markfw900
Top produser for TAS:ers: ___ MadMurph

I have now balanced the teams. I think that the switch of Neurodog and the addition of Baldurs_Gate makes the teams more equal. We will see how equal in the next few days.

One interesting number: 52 176 points: this is the number of points the Folding TeAm AnandTech has gained through the race: the addition of the TAS-crunchers, which otherwise would have crunched some other project. This is fun!

  😀 :sun: 😀

I think I'll finally have my 4200+ X2 up and running this weekend. I've run into some serious driver issues with my wireless card and my DVD drive I salvaged from an old build died on me. I should be getting a new one tomorrow.

Wow, my numbers suck right now. This is embarassing. 😱

Jeez, I took some inventory in the basement and I found a couple of MB/processor combos:

1.2GHz Athlon
180 MHz pentium pro

How long do you think the pentium pro would take to finish a fah WU??? 6 months, a year?

At the time I thought the pentium pro was the greatest! I had linux running on it, connected to the internet by modem and was running "gopher" and stuff like that! Obviously, this was well before the Netscape revolution!

Cheers everyone!!
