This has nothing to do with income. The article is just basic common sense.

I love how people always say income doesn't matter. How many rich people you know became rich making minimum wage?

Income plays a role just like time. You don't become rich overnight unless you hit the jackpot.

and that $500 figure is not counting purchases of hardrives and blank dvds.

🙁

Definitely expensive trying to get hold of Japanese stuff, I feel your pain. Sometimes you can find albums for less than 25$ on Ebay if someone's dumping personal collection, but the shops charge $25+ for new stuff. Still beats buying it imported from a US retailer for $40+.

Speaking of which, I really hope the buri guri I bought makes it to me. 🙁

There is nothing wrong with booze. Try living a little once in a while.

9 and 10 pegged me. I don't do anything with my money. It's not too late to change, but I should have done a lot more in my early 20s.

You don't become a baller working 9-5.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "baller", but I know several millionaires in their 30s that got there by working normal jobs. I also know a few people that take nothing but risks, and they have little to show for it.

It's all in the balance, no?

what is a normal job?

1. I don't give a crap what my neighbors think about my stuff.
2. I have never owed a balance on a credit card.
3. Only "Bad habit" is gambling, and hardly a money waster.
4. I have several retirement goals. Should be done by 45, and living comfortably.
5. Fully covered.
6. Slow and steady!
7. I do all of my own investing.
8. So far I've been cautious, so less return, but more knowledge.
9. Nope, fairly diverse.
10. Every day I think about my money.

Guess I'm on my way. They forgot reason #11, I'm simply to young right now.
