Nissan never sent us the GT-R because out of the 12 people in America who'd actually spend 911 Turbo money on an outdated-looking Japanese coupe, six are in jail at any given time."

The bits about the Countach are definitely true. The thing was a monster and it made no apologies. If one was willing to beat the crap out of the car, it could turn in some awesome numbers, but it was never anything but a nightmare that required a thorough man-handling to drive. :)

The 427 Cobra isn't quite as bad as all that, but yes, you definitely want to be sure you're pointed _straight_ when you put that skinny pedal on the right down to the floor.

As for the big-block 'Vette's, well, I'd still give my left arm for my buddy's '68 427 convertible with the 4-speed. Just for the way it sounds and looks... Mmmmm.

9. Nissan Skyline GT-R

What they left out: "The GT-R wouldn't need twin-turbos, all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and big intercoolers if it wasn't a heavy-ass piece of pork to begin with. And the feds ain't got nothing to do with it: Nissan never sent us the GT-R because out of the 12 people in America who'd actually spend 911 Turbo money on an outdated-looking Japanese coupe, six are in jail at any given time."

BUAHAHAHA. Suck it! Never liked those porkers...probably why I don't like the 3000GT VR4 either (another car built with "Excess is the Best" in mind).

Big-Block Corvette

What they left out: "Zora hated these understeering porkers. They overheated faster than the wall of the girl's showers at Smallville High

Heheheheheheh

My dream for may years was to have sex on the hood of a Lamborghini Countach with a hot babe. But at that time, the best I could do was getting boinked in the front seat of a 76 Gremlin.

hahaa... great article.

they are a bit harsh on the GT-R though. It's engine makes up more than what the weight takes away.

I drive a plebian '95 Camry LE (no, I don't have chrome rims;)). Then again, I don't think that my Camry is the sh!t either. It's A-B transportation.

As for Natalie, I hate the do, but I'd still DO her :D

I would agree with all of them except the 250GT. You cannot put what might be argued as the most beautiful Ferrari ever (and perhaps the most beautiful CAR ever) to grace this planet on this list. :p

EDIT: If the 250 belongs on this list, that you might as well put the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing on there too. The windows didn't roll down, it didn't have A/C, it was notoriously difficult to get in and out of. Still one of the greatest cars ever, IMO.

Agree on all but the 250

Edit: it may be true but................................ the car is just beautiful. One of the only cars I actually dream of having. The other Ferrari would be a 246

3. Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda

What they left out: "For Christ's sake, we're talking about a Plymouth-crappy plastics and rusty iron screwed together by some stoner with a UAW card. To 'sophistication of some smaller European designs' add 'circa 1916', and 'excellent handling (for a muscle car)' is analogous to 'fairly tolerant (for a Nazi).' It might also be worth noting that while Hemi 'Cudas are the flavor of the month at Barrett-Jackson today, no car made popular by a Don Johnson television series has ever kept its value for more than a year."

What a complete moron.

I drove a 1971 440 6barrel Challenger that was restored. It handled way better than most newer cars I have been in. It was a beautifull car that will last the ages, unlike most of the exotic pieces of crap on that list.
