Is it sad? They might not have the chicks and glory anymore, but they're getting paid to do art, and something they enjoy. They may not be making millions, but enough to live on, and a job you love is more than many have.
I think they still have an Original Roadie.Originally posted by: BoomerD
No...you don't understand. There's only one member of the original band left, and his vocals were...horrible at best. I'd seen them once in their prime...GREAT show, but this was B-A-D.
While I agree with the sentiment in your post...they were just plain terrible. (although some of the members of the band were decent musicians, as a group...they sucked)

This is much sadder than Oasis breaking up 1 minute before their show. What's next? DMX playing kids birthday parties?

so what if a former big name wants to play some small venue? why should that detract from them?
he's getting a decent amount of name recognition for this, and it's free.
and LOL at the cooking with coolio.

I see what you're getting at but let's just call a spade a spade. Dude is doing a web based cooking show. He's "headlining" a 150 person show. He's desperate for money. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it is what it is.

He had a strange bit where he asked the audience for tacos, Hennessy and gas money.
