That's It!

Really? 80s GM cars were some of the worst vehicles created by any company, at any time. Abysmal mechanical engineering, trim that falls off, and ugly styling.

Garage is 3 categories down.

Buick GNs are badass. Overrated nowadays, but still pretty badass.

I'd rather have a C5 Vette Z06 for the price GNX go these days. NA power is always better than Turbo from a driving standpoint.

I'd take an 86 Grand National in mint condition any day. Those things haul ass.

I don't view cars from the mid 80's as classic. 🙁

Used to have a 67 mustang. That WAS a classic. My wife has a 1986 560 SEC. Not quite a classic, but a beauty nonetheless. I came accross that car while looking at 944 Turbos. For some reason, I have been wanting one lately...

Haul ass right off the road, and into a ditch due to terrible handling.

The G-bodies were fine cars. Not like the crap that was coming over from Japan back then.

Yep, in general, they sucked doodoo. I've always wondered what the goal was.

I'm not an expert, but I've logged many miles on the road, and probably unlike you I've actually owned that Cutlass, I mean Monte Carlo, whoops, Buick in the Ebay ad ;^)

LOL

I all I drive are pre '88 big 3 vehicles. My first car was a 1968 Buick Skylark coup. My current car is a 1979 Chrysler Lebaron coup. In between were 6 other cars from 1976 to 1987.

You just got pnwed.

Pwned? How do you figure? If you think mid 80s GM are are much better than a skateboard, you're delusional. I've had a 71 VW bus, 74 VW bus, 71 Beetle, 74 Thing, 83(I think) F100, 76 Pinto, 76 Capri, 86 Cutlass, 88 Dodge 1 ton van, 97 Jeep, and I've had the misfortune of dealing with other people's garbage cars that I've had to fix. Of the cars I specifically mentioned above, guess which one was the worst...
