What ever happened to that show? I can still picture the revolving wall/door with 'That's Incredible' in huge letters, then Fran Tarkenton and Cathy what's-her-name and John what's-his-face would walk out! They had some strange stuff on that show.

My all-time favorite was this English guy named Stevie Starr. He could swallow various objects and then bring them back up! Light bulbs, goldfish, even sugar, which would come back out -- dry! Once he swallowed four pennies, numbered 1-4 with a marker. The audience would call out a number, and he would bring up the corresponding penny from his stomach. But his greatest trick: he swallowed a miniature Rubik's cube, one of those keychain ones -- and brought it back out, solved! Only years later did I come to the conclusion that, of course, he had swallowed a solved cube prior to the stunt, and simply regurgitated that one.

Ah, those were the days.

I used to love that show. When I got married I found out that my new Father in Law was on the show doing motorcycle stunts. ;)

Ah, John Davidson, Skip Stevenson, Sarah Purcell and Byron Allen in those funky bucket chairs. I liked the guy that made up words though - it figures that I can remember everyone's name but his - guy had dark curly hair, sort of a unibrow - anyway, he ended up writing several books about these made up words.

Nope, not Knievil. :) It has Holland.. He called himself "Jumping Jack Flash" He was also in the National Inquierer(sp) for jumping cars. He tried to jump something like 35 Chevettes in 1984 and didn't quite make it andd he just about killed himself.

You're mixing up two shows. Purcell, Stephenson and Allen were "Real People".
