None of those “gigantic deer” here. I love da mooses…but they’re cantankerous.Probably happens more often than I realize too, just first time I actually manage to spot it. We've had moose too.
Knock knock, let me in…I won’t go away…I’m gonna see you if it takes all day.The GF and I were just now sitting in the living room and we kept hearing something at the door. The cat is accounted for, and we didn't see anyone outside. Turns out it was a groundhog scratching at the door.
It is prophesized near the end of times that humans and animals will be able to speak to each other so there will be interactions like a negotiation between a carnivore and a human on it wanting to eat the latter. In your case, I think it would've been nice if the groundhog asked to come in for tea and you and your wife then actually became gracious hosts to our little friend.Turns out it was a groundhog scratching at the door.
It may be sick. If it's the same one that's been living in the rocks in my yard, it used to be.... we'll say festively plump. This one was a lot thinner and looked pretty rough. It is prophesized near the end of times that humans and animals will be able to speak to each other so there will be interactions like a negotiation between a carnivore and a human on it wanting to eat the latter. Leave something out for the critter? This one was a lot thinner and looked pretty rough.
This may look funny at first but you end up feeling really sorry for the poor fella:-Thats honestly looks horrifying and feels like it would be the source of a lot of myths if someone saw it standing on its hind legs.
Roses and apples are fckn deer magnets here. (as are most of the plants on the "deer resistant plant" lists...I guess the deer don't read those lists.)I saw what I initially thought was a big dog out of the corner of my eye on Friday, stood up to get a better look through the window, it was a deer. We've had one showing up fairly often lately, it's been seen eating apples from our apple tree, and our neighbor said that if we see it eating her rose bush again to please scare it away. But I'm also literally across the street from a forest (there's been the occasional bear sighting in someone's yard).
Hello Ms. Deer. I'm sorry but you can't eat me since I'm deer resistant.Roses and apples are fckn deer magnets here. (as are most of the plants on the "deer resistant plant" lists...I guess the deer don't read those lists.)
This is incredibly unsettling.
