That's a funny shaped person

The GF and I were just now sitting in the living room and we kept hearing something at the door. The cat is accounted for, and we didn't see anyone outside. Turns out it was a groundhog scratching at the door.

I'm hardly an expert but that looks more like some sort of canine.

The 4 legs seem pretty well defined. I wouldn't expect that for a bear.

It is prophesized near the end of times that humans and animals will be able to speak to each other so there will be interactions like a negotiation between a carnivore and a human on it wanting to eat the latter. In your case, I think it would've been nice if the groundhog asked to come in for tea and you and your wife then actually became gracious hosts to our little friend.

It may be sick. If it's the same one that's been living in the rocks in my yard, it used to be.... we'll say festively plump. This one was a lot thinner and looked pretty rough.

I was driving to a client's shop in the boonies & a large dog started crossing the street, so I slowed down. Turned out to be a small bear lol. Turning into I Am Legend out there!

I saw what I initially thought was a big dog out of the corner of my eye on Friday, stood up to get a better look through the window, it was a deer. We've had one showing up fairly often lately, it's been seen eating apples from our apple tree, and our neighbor said that if we see it eating her rose bush again to please scare it away. But I'm also literally across the street from a forest (there's been the occasional bear sighting in someone's yard).

Roses and apples are fckn deer magnets here. (as are most of the plants on the "deer resistant plant" lists...I guess the deer don't read those lists.)

Hello Ms. Deer. I'm sorry but you can't eat me since I'm deer resistant.

Nothing personal you understand.

Hey, why don't you go munch on some honeysuckle.

No . . . no . . . don't you understand . . . you can't ea.....

ARGGHHH!!!

Munch, munch.

Had another visitor tonight. This one didn't trigger an alert at all, I just happened to check footage because someone posted there was a bear in the area.

If bears are so dangerous why are they friend shaped? Just look at those ears!
