My credit card's chip has been acting funny and never works at most stores. Oddly, it does work at other stores. So went online to see if they have an option to request a new card. Literally 3 clicks and it's done. Did not even have to fill any forms or anything. I'll get it in a few weeks. Online banking is awesome.

Chip?, I've never seen one with a chip, just the magnetic strip on the back..

I thought most cards were moving to the chip now. It also does have the magetic swipe, but lot of store machines don't support it anymore. Or I've also seen where the chip has to fail 3 times first before you can try the magnetic strip. For some reason my card only works at certain places or cashes. For example when I go to the grocery store my card only works on cash 3. It's weird like that. lol

None of mine has a chip nor have I even seen anyone else with one..

my debit card is just printed on a piece of plastic right at my local branch. it doesnt even have bumpy numbers. it has the magnetic strip on the back, but its almost gone. it barely works anymore.

cool thing is, if i want a new one i just go to my branch and they print another one instantly.
