that tape that attaches heatsink to memory stick ?

This is an odd request. Can some techie mail me a tiny piece ?
Or where can I get a small strip of that tape ?
It sticks the heatsink strip to DDR3 memory.
Seems to be thin foam with sticky both sides.
My drugstore stuff is thicker, or will that work ok ?
Hmm, maybes use super glue to put it back on ?
This is for LED Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer.
Only 1 side came off. Is in my drawer now.
Memory still works fine.

Btw, the Tactical Tracers cause cold boot problems
with my 1150 Asus Z87-K and cheapo G3220 cpu.
But, I sorta fixed this with a Haswell certified power
supply Corsair GS600. So far, same Tracers and
no cold boot problems.

Foam tape will just insulate it. They make specific heatsink glue to hold on items.

If you don't have heatsink glue but you do have regular heatsink paste (like the kind that comes with your CPU cooler), you can use a mix of that and superglue if you don't plan on taking it off again.

Memory heatsinks are basically decorative and aren't necessary.

If you really want to stick your heatsink back on, you should probably get some thermal tape from a modding shop like Frozen CPU. It's not expensive:

Don't mix glue and thermal paste, which is grease. Don't use super glue. Any double stick tape that's thin will work adequately, and if it has silicone or acrylic adhesive it will stick very long. Silicone rubber sealant is a good thermal glue for heatsinks and for memory sticks is preferred over epoxy since it handles the different expansion rates of the heatsink and chips. It's also easier to remove without tearing the chips off the circuit board.
