Yeah, QWest sucks ass. I hate them as well. At this year's Superbowl party I stated my hatred for QWest, it turns out there was a guy there who is a technician for them. Someone said that he works for QWest, but I didn't give a sh!t and stuck to my statement. I don't give a flying fvck if he works there or not, they still suck.

I haven't seen the Qwest commercial because I have a Replay TV. Pyonir, I suggest you get a Replay TV, Tivo, or set up an htpc to record shows for you. Until you do that, you are about 3 years behind the average Anandtecher.

Too bad Gretzky feels the need to appear in their differently-intellected commercials. We get both the radio and TV versions here in the Seattle area, both equally "special."

Plus other radio spots in which people "comically" feel more joy in talking to qwest telemarketers than their family. : puke;

What's wrong with Qwest? phone, wireless, internet. anything specific? Just curious, they are my DSL provider (through MSN), and I've had zero problems, but that and basic phone service is all I use them for, so in my case, the less the better.

They are more expensive than any other provider i have seen (Cox Communications down here), their customer service is garbage (in my personal experience), and their technical service takes forever (again, compared to Cox).

Ok, I guess the reason I haven't seen any trouble with them is that I've been fairly lucky and haven't had any issues with my services. Heck, I was pretty happy that they decided to upgrade me from my lowely 640/256 to 1500/800 for just an extra $5. I'll admit, I think I'd rather have cable internet, but where I'm at it isn't available.

Yeah, I figure with what I pay for my satellite AND DSL, I'd be saving about $20/month, plus my ATi AIW programming channel stuff would actually work. Oh well, at least I'm not on dial up, and the satellite does save me on video/dvd rentals. :)

edit: I don't care for that commercial either.
