I hated it too. But it kinda grew on me. And I hate 99.99% of rap/pop music.

He sounds like the member of linkin park, Mike Shinoda I think is his name. His solo stuff sounds just like that guy.

Not bad. Too monotone for my taste; very Linkin Park-ish. When he's rapping fast his flow is decent, but the slower parts sound awkward. Definitely worth a listen though, especially with the live band backing.

Wait what...nooo...

Listen to Fort Minor and then listen to that. Maybe the voices are slightly similar, but Shinoda can play music and is a decent lyricist.

and furthermore, is it really that impressive that you can 'keep time w/o a metronome', i guess after being in band for 8 years, I don't find that really that impressive a feat...

a) Sounds nothing like Eminem
b) Didn't like it first, now I love it.
c) If it wasn't for the horns in it, it wouldn't sound like Cake at all. Not only that, but the rest of the album sounds a bit different from this song.
d) I hate the excessive amount of political messages in the album.
