Throw in the AWD and a turbo system that they are putting into the new 6 series and it would be a steal. But then again, turbo's and rotaries don't mix well.

They aren't, but I wish they would. Rotary's and turbo's don't mix because of the durability of rotary engines. Guess they learned that with the RX-7.

Having seen it in real life the paint is 100X better looking than in the photos, all shimmery and sparkly, drooool......

I think the automakers miss this, a good paintjob can make an average looking car a lot better

Have they ever been able to fix the gas milage on that wankle engine? Last Rx-7 got 8mpg, I doubt the new one gets anything near 20mpg. I'll give them credit and say they doubled the gas mileage (without actually knowing) and it now gets a whopping 15mpg. Whoop de do, might be fun to drive (torque and power max at the same RPM), but for a daily driver it would suck hard.

Looks like they are in fact working on a turbo for the RX-8.
